Major lighting manufacturers prepare for Russian Construction Week 2025 at EXPOCENTRE Fairgrounds
EXPOCENTRE has hosted a working meeting of the RosBuild project team with leading lighting manufacturers, developers and lighting designers as part of the preparations for Russian Construction Week 2025 and RosBuild 2025.
The purpose of the meeting is to create a platform for communication between lighting manufacturers, property developers, lighting designers and project developers, and to discuss key issues of the lighting industry during Russian Construction Week.
The meeting was attended by representatives of such major lighting manufacturers as IMG Lighting, Varton, Lighting Technologies, INTILED, BL Group, Saros, Rich LED, Zers Design, SWG, Signify Eurasia, Faldi, Raduga, Maytoni, Lightstar, MBLight, SDSVET, Samolet Group, Marino Developer, Rublevo-Arkhangelsoye Developer, Snegiri Group, LiDS Lighting Design Studio, BRIGHT BURO, QPRO Engineering Company, and lighting designers Kira Fedotova and Valeria Gorelova, and others.
The discussion was moderated by Rashid Artikov, a member of the Presidium of the Scientific and Expert Council for Monitoring the Implementation of Legislation in the Field of Energy, Energy Saving and Energy Efficiency under the Russian Federation Council Committee on Economic Policy, Head of the Working Group on Import Substitution for the Needs of Energy, Housing and Utilities and Energy Consumers, and a member of the Expert Council of the Russian State Duma on Import Substitution.
In his opening speech, Rashid Artikov defined the purpose of the meeting that was to remove as many barriers as possible between customers, manufacturers and lighting designers.
“Equipment manufacturers, builders, developers, lighting designers and representatives of engineering companies have come here. Therefore, we need to try to solve pressing problems together. One of today’s obstacles is sanctions. The time frames for deliveries from China, Turkiye, Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan have increased. Payments are causing great difficulties. I would also like to touch upon the topic of equipment quality, which is very acute today. In addition, we will talk about copyright and intellectual property infringement,” said the moderator.
The discussion was focused on these and other challenges facing the industry. Proposals were made to develop Russian Construction Week 2025 and RosBuild 2025 to improve the conditions for demonstrating modern lighting equipment and lighting design. There was also an idea to create a professional community that promotes high technology in lighting engineering.
This meeting served as a springboard for discussing pressing issues of the lighting industry, developing effective networking among manufacturers, property developers, lighting designers, and project developers. The discussion will continue at the Panel on Lighting of Apartment Buildings and Territories 2025, which will take place within Russian Construction Week 2025. The latest achievements of the lighting industry will be demonstrated at RosBuild 2025.
The organisers have promised to take all suggestions into account when preparing Russian Construction Week 2025 at EXPOCENTRE Fairgrounds. The RosBuild 2025 International Exhibition for Building and Finishing Materials and Technologies will take place within the Week on 11–14 March 2025.
