The Russian Construction Week 2022 organising committee held an online meeting

The organising committee of Russian Construction Week 2022 held an online meeting today. The week will take place at Expocentre Fairgrounds from March 1 to 4, 2022. It includes the RosBuild 2022 International Exhibition for Building and Finishing Materials and Technologies, the Low-Rise House Construction Salon, the Building the Future of Russia Together Forum, and the Russian Meeting on Development of Housing Construction.

The meeting of the organising committee was attended by Alexey Vyalkin, Chairman of the Organising Committee, Director General of EXPOCENTRE AO, Efim Basin, Chairman of the Committee for Entrepreneurship in Construction of the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Kirill Holopik, Director General of the Institute of Construction Industry Development, representatives of industry associations, businesses and relevant government agencies.

The goal of Russian Construction Week is to unite the potential of the Russian construction industry on one platform in order to facilitate implementation of the state programmes and national projects, programmes for renovation of housing stock, formation of modern urban environment and development of low-rise housing construction.

In his speech, Alexey Vyalkin said in particular: "More than 150 companies from 11 countries took part in RosBuild this March. More than 7,000 specialists attended face-to-face events of the conference programme. There were 8,400 unique visitors to the Russian Construction Week conference programme online. With the support of leading construction associations and expert organisations, preparations for the next construction week are already underway. "EXPOCENTRE AO is 100% ready to provide all the necessary premises and technical equipment. Resolve any other issues regarding the organisation of the conference and exhibition programme".

Efim Basin proposed that the meeting approve the composition of the organising committee, which was approved unanimously. As for the conference programme, Efim Basin noted the complexity of the epidemiological situation in the country and suggested that a hybrid format of events could be envisaged so that those who could not come to Expocentre Fairgrounds due to the pandemic could fully participate in the events of the Week.

Kirill Holopik presented in detail events of the coming conference programme to the members of the organising committee.
